SIDR - The crasher of year 2007 has crashed the lower part of BANGLADESH very badly. A nongovernmental organization reported the statistics given above. After SIDR, the caretaker government of Bangladesh is trying their level best to help the affected people. But its a real big deal to recover such a huge loss. Most of the people are not getting their relief sufficiently because of weak communication system. Almost 90% of the affected people are currently living under the open sky. They are not getting any food, drinking water, any kind of financial support and not even any treatment or first aid. Government is trying but a large percentage of the affected people are living in those places which are currently unreachable. So the distribution of the relief is not being 100% successful. After that also, some private organizations are still trying & co-operating with the government to help those people staying in the unreachable zone. The government reported that they have already received 1400 crore TK as help from some friendly countries. Private sectors of Bangladesh are also playing a handy role in this part. They are also contributing a lot. Individuals are doing so. But at this moment, nothing is getting enough for them. So we can just ask you to help them. Whatever you can do for them please do it now.
